Happy, blesséd 2023!! I have been praying that God would infuse His people with a spirit of fearlessness and fear of Him this year, and praying that starts with me.

I'm behind on blogging... there are actually several sessions I still need to put up here. So consider this a sneak-peek at some blog posts coming shortly, Lord willing!

This was an amazing year, and I am SO grateful for every single person the Lord brought in front of my camera this last year AND every student He brought to my photography class. I was able to create beautiful images for some beautiful people and share how to recreate the process and spread beauty around.

With that, enjoy my top 22 favorite photos of 2022:

This was the most breathtaking winter snowy photoshoot I've ever been to. Not to mention it's the only winter snowy photoshoot I've ever been to.

Just slay me. I have stared at this photo for many many minutes combined this year.

I'm still trying to figure out whether the scarf graced her or she graced the scarf.

Anyway, it gives me major pioneer novel cover vibes.

Anyone writing a pioneer girl novel that needs a book cover?

Need I say anything? I think not.

*Swoons*

I could just die. I love this photo.

This was a proud moment for me. When I walked into this situation, I had no idea how I would get a good photo for these two. But I am in LOVE with this image. Click here to read about what the obstacles were and how we overcame them!

We did gooood. I can't wait to see this on her graduation cards!!!

Ian & I found them swinging by the creek as we were returning from one photoshoot. We said, "Hey, why don't you hop in front of our camera? And they did. And I'm SO. GLAD!!!!!"

This was a fun first try with multiple exposure. And I will forever treasure the memories we made creating it.

I have nothing to say.

I just can't even.

Those who know Sydney... is this not Sydney!??

GORGEOUS. I could just faint.

"Hi, I'm Sydney!"

Confidence. Beauty. Grace. And stellar leading lines.

The sweet feminine serenity of it all... I could just swoon.

Aaah, the coloring brings her face to LIFE!!

These two girls had never met before. To look at this photo, you'd never guess! They came to my photography class and to illustrate a point I was making during the posing period, I guided them into this pose to make them look like best friends. :))

A quiet guy Ian and I had just met. Besides the quality of the photo itself, I'm pleased at how genuine a smile this is after just making his acquaintance. :))

If you could see the place where I captured this image, you'd be proud too. :))

He's a soft summer. But he's intense. And he has moon-high visions for his business. I think I captured it all.

May God be exalted,

~ Kina
