Q:
How does posing work? Will you pose us, or will we pose ourselves?
A: I pose you! I love posing people so much, it's kinda my thing. My goal is that you won't even have to think about "Where do I put my hands? Should I stand like this?" one time during the entire shoot. :) Just show up and let me do the rest. :)
Q:
How will we receive the photos?
A: I will email you a link to download them at 100% full resolution free of charge.
Q:
What can we do to prepare the kiddos for a great session?
A: Talk about me to them as a friend, not a random stranger-photographer, and be excited and confident about the shoot yourself! (I sure am!) Excitement is contagious. :)

I highly recommend feeding little ones before the shoot to avoid "hangriness." :D

Bringing a little treat like raisins or a favorite snack we can use as mini-rewards for great participation seems to work wonders too!
I grew up in a large family, love kids, and enjoy taking their photos. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve I like to pull out at the shoot to make them feel comfortable during the shoot and enjoy it.
Q:
When will we receive our photos?
A:

1 - In the week following your session, we’ll post a sneak peek of one of our favorite photos from our time together on our Instagram page –– so keep an eye out for that! We're so excited for you to see how beautiful you look through our eyes.

2 - About two weeks after your session, we’ll post a blog with some of our favorite highlights on our blog

3 - 3 weeks after your session, we’ll send you a link to your online gallery with all of your final, retouched, full-resolution images. You can share the link with your family and friends, post to social media and more! We recommend changing the lock screen on your phone first :) Also, don’t forget! Your gallery comes with unlimited downloads for you and anyone you share the link with. Also, if you like, you can upload the digital files to the retail lab of your choice and print them from there!
Q:
How did you learn photography?
A: I started my own business when I was 11, (it was called "Roaring Lamb Photography") and received a lot of hands-on opportunities and practice because of it. In 2020, I launched a photography and videography business with my oldest brother, specializing in wedding, corporate, graduation, and love story videos.

That same year, I also enrolled in some courses on posing and lighting from amyandjordan.com. My photos have never looked the same. :)
