Memorable Snowy Meadow Portrait Session with Purple Couch & Scarves // Winter 2021

This shoot, oh, it holds so many memories!! It was my first time driving in the snow. To make matters worse, somehow my future-suitor-to-be had found his way in the back of the vehicle. Full of confidence, I zoomed out of the icy driveway. "STOPPP!!! Kina, slow down!!!!" were Daeus' first words. "Calm down, Daeus, it's okay!!!" was my response.

I might have been right about that first turn at the intersection, but he was right about a stuck car on a corner. He nearly saved me from an accident. (Thanks Daeus.)

With lots of glances in the rearview mirror, I could not gather what in the world was going through Ian's head. Anyway, he still chose to ask me to be in a relationship leading toward marriage with him. All's well that ends well. :))

My sis-in-law had asked me to take some product photos of some scarves she had designed. I just knew we needed the purple couch.

First stop was to pick up the purple couch.

My second favorite memory was watching Ian carry that purple couch slung over his shoulder through the ice. Aah, it was so good to have him there!! :))))

As Kate says, "Boys will be boys, even when you're married to them. :))"

After this, we threw on alllll the different scarves and color-compatible jackets.

And just like that, the sun was setting and it was time to go home, warm our fingers, drink tea, and enjoy a warm, cozy winter supper. :)) I never did quite figure out what Ian thought of my driving.
