Gorgeous Country Wedding at Parker Barn + WEDDING VIDEO // Rosie & Micah

Rosie is one of my closest friends. In her bedroom she had posted a sticky note that read,

"No rain on the wedding day, just sunshine and a nice breeze."

She had told me that she writes prayer requests on sticky notes and posts them on her wall so she can remember to pray about them as she walks by.

Well, she and Micah had been planning to get married on July 10th. Unfortunately, the venue accidentally got double-booked for July 10th. After praying about it, Rosie and Micah decided to give July 10th to the other couple and get married on July 31st instead. Rosie told me all about this, and I remember thinking two things:

1) Wow, that is so very mature and gracious.

2) Hmm... methinks God must have something up His sleeve... I just see His fingerprints all over this.

You can be sure that I kept an eye out on July 10th to see what the weather was going to be like. It ended up being one of those summer thunderstorms that dumps buckets for hours on end.

July 31, however, dawned beautiful and bright with hardly a cloud in the sky. There was no rain on the wedding day, just sunshine and a nice breeze. :)

That story just reminds me of Rosie & Micah's love story. Practically, every part of their relationship is an answer to specific prayer. And I am very happy to say that I played a part in it! Before Micah and Rosie ever met, I knew both of them and it struck me how similar they were, spiritually, so I started praying that God would bring them together if it was His will. Their love story video is full of examples of how one or both of them prayed specifically, and God answered specifically. And there are so many more examples - from a storm forcing Micah's family to change their plans and stop at Rosie's house, to Micah happening to title one of his emails, "Captivated By Love," to finding the perfect ring, God answered specific prayer after specific prayer. I chose the above photo as their cover photo because it seems to encapsulate their relationship. :)

Notice the amazing third wheel? :) :) We're pretty good at being third wheels around here, lol. :)

We played "Ring around the Rosie" and none of us could believe the irony... :):):)

The ice cream bar was a big hit. :)

Rosie & Micah both wrote very touching letters to both sets of parents.

Rosie surprised Micah by singing "The Battle Hymn Of Love" to him.
